Applications for Gen.6 are officially closed. Now what?

It is October 16th and that only means one thing: applications for Gen.6 are officially closed. First, we want to thank all those startups that have trusted our program and decided to submit an application. Second, we want to let you know what happens next.
First, the parallel18 team does an internal review to weed out those applications that do not comply with the basic requisites of the program. These are:
- companies that have been in operations for three years or less
- companies with traction
- companies that are willing to move to Puerto Rico
- companies that have an innovative component
- companies with full-time founders
If you receive an email that you did not pass the first round of judging, you can always send us an email asking for feedback.
The startups that pass to the second round of judging will be evaluated by at least three judges using the following criteria:

Finally, a board consisting of local & global members evaluates the top 80 to 100 companies and selects the up to 40 startups that will join Gen.6.

International Entrepreneurs
We encourage you to start applying for a U.S. visa in case you get accepted in the program. Even if you’re not accepted, a U.S. visa is always useful for entrepreneurs. Parallel18 has no leverage or influence to grant U.S. visas, this is why we suggest you start that process as soon as possible.
