Michelle Phan — Ipsy

This girl in her 20’s started posting beauty video tutorials on Youtube and became a pioneer of the Beauty Vlogger phenomenon. Are you a fan of the Phan?

Alexa von Tobel — LearnVest

LearnVest is one of the first financial tech companies in the market. In the middle of the economic recession, Von Tobel saw a necessity to make financial planning affordable and accessible to young professionals with mid to low income. She looked for mentors to help her with her idea, and recently sold the company for $250 million. The young entrepreneur is still in charge as CEO.

Meredith Perry — UBeam

Melissa Jiménez — Merodea.me

Using her experience in fashion, Merodea.me’s CEO, Melissa Jiménez, created an ecommerce portal that serves as a template for Puerto Rican designers. Its business has expanded internationally with a growing portfolio of local fashion creatives.

Ooshma Garg — Gooble

Subscription boxes are extremely popular, but their success value lies in it’s uniqueness. Gobble, is designed for cooking. But Garg understood that her startup value lied in simplicity by providing a selection of meals each week with 3- step / 1 pan recipes and pre-portioned ingredients to subscribers’ homes. Who doesn’t want that after a whole day of work!?

Marcela Sapone — Hello Alfred

Marcela Sapone just made Fortune’s 30 under 30 List and she deserves it by tapping on a true Millennial problem: lack of time. Hello Alfred is a tech full butler service that still operates in limited cities but it will surely grow. It’s name is based on Batman’s right hand and it can be your faithful helper with chores for a reasonable price.
